The Convenience Behind Commitment-Free Kegerators

The Convenience Behind

Commitment-Free Kegerators

Summit’s Commitment-Free Series Requires Zero Drilling

A good beer is always refreshing, whether it’s a hot summer day at the beach or a cool fall evening tailgating at your favorite stadium.

With so many options available in the world of all things beer, there’s a brew for everyone and anyone looking to enjoy a cold one. From bright pilsners, dark porters, and chocolatey stout options to golden lagers and deliciously bitter IPAs, there's an endless variety for you and your guests. Not to mention how many local favorites are found across the country.

Dive Bar or Lounge

Sure, you could head to your favorite dive bar or lounge, but why not go one step further?

Set up a home bar for you to enjoy alongside your family and friends, who will be so impressed they'll crown your place as the new, up-and-coming hotspot. No wonder so many beer enthusiasts are investing in their own home kegerators

The Problem With Kegerators

Going to the pub or lounge anytime you want a drink can dent your budget. Having a kegerator at home will, of course, take your beer game to the next level and save you and your wallet in the long term. This is where at-home kegerators come into play. But before you get too excited, just know that most at-home kegerators will require you to drill a hole in your countertop.

To some, counter construction is worth the hassle in the name of having a kegerator. However, the problem arises if and when you have expensive marble countertops or if you move and need to relocate the entire kegerator itself. Not to mention how costly it could be to make countertop alterations, added to what you will spend on the kegerator. There’s also the risk of drilling in the wrong spot if your measurements aren’t precise.

Commitment-Free Kegerators
Summit’s Solutions: Commitment-Free Series

Our innovative lineup of commitment-free built-in kegerators offers maximum convenience, eliminating the need to make alterations to countertops while still keeping easy access to beer on tap in commercial and residential settings.

The Floating Tap Kegerator

Our one-a-kind floating tap beer dispenser separates the draft tower from the kegerator's top. The kegerator sits under your counter, while the remote tower is placed on top of the counter surface with removable adhesive. Instead of drilling a hole in your counter surface to feed the kegerator's beer line directly into the tower, the floating tap kegerator reroutes the tubing to go out the kegerator hole, under your countertop, and up the removable tower.

The versatile design makes it easy to adjust your home bar when the situation calls for something more discreet. Draft beer adds a great touch to your space, but maybe you don’t always want your guests knowing what’s in the fridge. The lightweight tower can be easily disassembled and put away when hosting teenagers, sober company, or disapproving relatives (every family has them!). We include standard shelving and an insulated grommet to cover the keg hole, allowing you to convert any floating tap kegerator into a standard refrigerator (and back again!).

The Front Tap Kegerator

Unlike the traditional kegerators at your local pub or home bars, our front tap kegerator's twin taps are accessed via the unit's front door. This means that all of our front tap kegerators can be installed under the counter without the need to modify the countertop with a hole for the draft tower, saving countertop space and creating a more accessible kegerator experience.

Commitment-Free Sizes & Style

Not all counters are the same, so we've made sure the height of our front-tap and floating-tap units can be adjusted between 33.5" and 34.5" to best fit under most standard counters. We also offer units in a lower 32" height to fit under ADA-compliant counters. There's no need to worry about an interrupted kitchen design, either, since we include a removable leg cover that lets you hide any gaps that can appear between the kickplate and the floor.

Both front tap and floating tap beer kegerators are available in a modern stainless steel finish to elevate the look of any kitchen. For a seamless, uninterrupted kitchen design our floating tap kegerators can be ordered panel-ready for customization, while the front tap model also comes in a sleek black finish.
