What Is The Right Place for my Kegerator?
To ensure that your beer dispenser works at the maximum efficiency it was designed for, install it in a location where there is proper air circulation and electrical connections. Choose a location where the beer dispenser will be away from heat and will not be exposed to direct sunlight. If your kegerator is a freestanding unit and not made for built in use, it must have adequate clearance space of 4 inches on all sides to function properly. Always consult your user manual to ensure you have left enough clearance.

How do I keep my draft beer fresh?
The trick to keeping your keg of beer at its best is to keep oxygen out of the keg and keep it stored at the right temperature. If you can do these two things, you will have fresh draft beer for months.

What is a Pub Cellar?
Unlike draft beer, craft beer stored in cans or bottles generally taste better at warmer temperatures. Contemporary craft beers are often based on traditional beer styles that did not depend on modern refrigeration equipment. Craft beers open up and show off their taste complexities at more moderate temperatures. Think of craft beer much like you think of wine. It has very similar temperature requirements. SUMMIT answers the call of ale enthusiasts with our line of Pub Cellars™, solid or glass door refrigerators equipped with a digital thermostat preset to maintain a temperature range of 50-65ºF. What do I do if I’m not going to use the Kegerator for a while?
If you are going to be shutting off the beer dispenser and putting it in storage, be sure to thoroughly clean the unit beforehand. This includes cleaning the faucet, beer line, and keg coupler with beer line cleaning chemicals. Lastly, place an open box of baking soda inside the refrigerator to absorb any moisture that may cause mildew. Then when it is taken out of storage, the faucet, beer line, and keg coupler should be cleaned once again before dispensing beer.

How do I pour draft beer?
For best results, always use a clean glass to avoid cloudy beer. Hold the glass under the faucet at a 45º angle, then open the faucet. Do not let the faucet touch the beer or inside of the glass. When the beer has reached the midpoint of the glass, slowly tilt it upright and continue pouring so you have a small 1" layer of foam. Quickly close the faucet to avoid overflow.
